Homework:
Paraphrasing is the most important science research skill. Paraphrasing is when we take someone else's words (written or spoken) and put them into our own words. Paraphrasing captures ideas and details; it is never a summary. This is particularly important to 12th graders because the graduation portfolio task of "Scientific Literacy" is planned for November. Students will write an original research paper that synthesizes research from multiple sources. Students need proper college research skills to be successful.
